Project DARE: I dare YOU! Free places for women in Loughborough Junction

Funded places  are available for 25 female residents, aged over 16, from the Coldharbour area  to participate in the Project DARE. Body Adoration series of workshops!

Project DARE provides the opportunity for women to explore through the arts subjects including beauty, self-compassion, self-love, confidence and more.

  • Performance & theatre arts.
  • Training in skills used by actors.
  • Work of drama practitioners.
  • And a teaser of burlesque.

All the activities are accessible, fun and a little bit daring. All shapes, sizes, fitness levels and ages (16+) can take part in the workshops – although they are female only. The workshops give darers (participants) the chance to make connections within their community, share their stories and learn a variety of different confidence building techniques which they can take away with them. By the end of the workshops each darer (participant) will know what makes them unique and will love their body more than ever before!

Darers (paticipants) must bring their own packed lunch to the sessions although light refreshments (fruit, biscuits and hot drinks) will be available.
