Gentrification/regeneration is killing the heart and soul of London, but Brixton is feeling it much harder than anywhere else.  The vibrant communities and ambiance that has pulled the hipsters and trendies to Brixton is being systematically driven out.

Property developers are benefitting from the edgy history of the area while brutally moving locals out to be replaced by the monied gentry.

Filmed in Brixton, Docudrama ‘A Moving Image’, tackles these issues head on.

Followed by after film Q&A with the film’s director, Shola Amoo and other guests.

4.30pm, Saturday 17 June @ Whirled Cinema, Brixton.

Tickets £5.90.
