We received an email from Meanwhile Space about some arch space they have available in Loughborough Junction. Full message set out below:

Meanwhile Space has partnered with Network Rail to make 2 railway arches available for meanwhile use in Loughborough Junction. 5 more arches are expected to be available soon.
Each unit is initially available on a 12-month contract, with rent in the region of £350-£500 pcm (+ rates, bills and admin fee). The spaces are on Wickwood Road, Ridgway Road and Rathgar Road, just by Loughborough Junction train station.
The arches will require you to carry out works to bring them up to a useable standard, including reconnecting power supplies and fitting them out to suit your needs.
Meanwhile Space are looking for tenants who will make active use of these spaces as soon as possible, will bring something vibrant and different to Loughborough Junction and will not compete with local businesses. You will also need to prove you can commit to investing in the spaces, pay rent each month and be in the space at least 5 days a week.

We will use the app cu-cu for the application process, for signing leases and first payment. This is to facilitate the process, and hopefully make it faster. More information about the application process is available on our website.

Costs involved. •In addition to your monthly rent to Meanwhile Space, you will be liable for business rates. If the arch is your business’s only space, you will be eligible for a 100% subsidy on business rates, but you will need to apply to Lambeth Council for this.
•You will need to pay utilities (and any costs of reconnecting if needed).
•There is an admin charge from cu-cu of 2.2% of the full 12 months’ rent
•You will need to invest time and money to make the space suitable for your use. You should consider this carefully when applying.
