Carve your own wooden spoon
Monday 24 August and Wednesday 26 August at 2pm.
These two workshops led by local artist Stephen Stockbridge of Creative Nature will take place in the seated area in the nature garden in Ruskin Park.
Try your hand at the ancient art of spoon carving turning an unprepossessing piece of wood into a thing of beauty.Tools and materials are provided.

The workshops will be held in the round seating area in Ruskin Park, between the tennis courts and the Trees for Cities building. They last 2.5 hours and you will emerge with your very own carved wooden spoon.
Social distancing will be in place but please bring your own water and snacks as these will not be provided. Covid-19 rules mean that numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
