Farm Crowdfunder: Growing Wellbeing in Loughborough Junction – Please share and donate if you can

This year has been a huge challenge and we have worked hard throughout the pandemic to keep the farm growing and to continue our work to promoting healthy living, inclusion and connection.

Our summer programme of wellbeing workshops nurtured wellbeing and mental health through connection to nature, creativity and each other. We want to be able to run more frequent volunteer sessions so that more people can enjoy getting outside, being part of our team growing healthy vegetables for volunteers and the local community. We will also continue to grow and distribute edible plants to give to local estate residents.

We have offered workshops aimed at bringing us together online and in person to help reduce loneliness and isolation, promote creativity and a connection to nature

We are raising money to run more health and wellbeing workshops and nurture the growing work we do through this first Covid winter and beyond.

We want to continue to the wellbeing workshops that we have been running throughout the summer – these varied from hOver the summer we ran a programme of wellbeing workshops that nurtured connection to nature,  summer workshops were really well received – we want to run more through the winter months both in person  and online.

The Farm will continue to grow healthy vegetables through the winter months.  This will benefit the wellbeing of our volunteers and supply surplus fresh salads to The Platform Cafe who now have some more funding to continue providing free meals to those in need

A big thank you to all of our Farm volunteers who have kept the Farm growing and supporting each other through these difficult months.  Thank you to our volunteers and Styles Garden’s neighbours who featured in our crowdfunder film.  Creating this film and crowdfunder has been a great way to reflect and celebrate all that we have done.

Thanks to our Crowdfunder Film Makers
