Black History Month
Tony Bailey will be our Food Hero on 30th October, cooking up a storm with his Jamaican food and music. Food heroes is from noon to 1pm on Sundays at the park depot (near the junction of Brief Street and Cormont Road). Everyone welcome, contact Rajia to book your place.
Plus there’s Wriggle and Rhyme at Minet library every Tuesday 10.30am – 11am for young children.
Chocho!
Our greenhouse has grown dozens of chocho this year which will be harvested for their seeds. This means we’ll be able to grow plants to give away next year – it’s not possible to buy chocho seeds commercially and there is only one per plant! Thanks to local expert grower Fen who gave us a strain that will crop in England.
