Today is Giving Tuesday — a day when people everywhere come together to support the causes they care about. This year, we’re asking for your help to finish our refurbishment project and build a brighter, more inclusive Grove Adventure Playground.
We’re creating a new sensory room and fully accessible toilet for children with additional needs, while also refreshing the building with new flooring, upgraded lighting, and essential maintenance. Watch this video to see the work in progress.
Unfortunately, an unexpected issue in the building has caused both delays and additional costs. Your support can help us continue this important work without interruption, benefitting more than 400 local children and young people each year.
We’re also raising funds for the next stage of the project: refurbishing our outdoor play equipment. This will ensure that all children — including those with special educational needs and disabilities — can enjoy safe, stimulating play in a welcoming and secure environment.
We have an ambitious fundraising target of £30k to complete these improvements, and we’re kicking off our efforts with Giving Tuesday.
