A planning application has gone in to build on the site at the centre of Loughborough Junction, which currently houses the Primesite billboards (Plot 220 – 224 Coldharbour Lane). The building would be four storeys high at the front and two at the rear with a commercial unit on the whole of the ground floor and bedsits on the first floor fronting Rathgar Road and flats on three floors fronting Coldharbour Lane with a small communal roof terrace on the third floor. Whilst the units may meet national standards, the spaces are small and there is almost no external space and just tiny balconies to the flats overlooking Coldharbour Lane and projecting over the narrow pavement.
