Lambeth council has appointed 00/Public Works as the architects for the development of the Loughborough Farm site. Lambeth council has £1.64 million from the Mayor of London’s Regeneration Fund to build affordable workspace for local people and provide a permanent home for the Farm. The project has the working title LJ:Works and the council is already working with a steering group of local organisations to bring these plans to fruition.
This Saturday there will be free food, drink and music outside the Hero of Switzerland on as well as the opportunity to hear more about Lambeth council’s plans to build affordable workspace for local people and provide a permanent home for the Farm on the site that will now be known as LJ:Works. Architects Tom and Myra will be giving a presentation on the plans for the development of the site including information about the community kitchen and makerspace as well as other opportunities.
