SAVE THE GROVE ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND DIY DAYS
A big thank you from the The Save the Grove Adventure Playground group for everyone who helped last Saturday. Some great progress was made cleaning and painting the front on Gordon Grove.
TWO MORE VOLUNTEER DAYS
Friday 7 July and Saturday 8 July
10am – 5pm (or as much as you can do)
APES Adventure Play Engineers who original built the Grove Adventure Playground will be on-site to work with DIY volunteers.
The main job will be putting in additional supports to some of the key structural elements but there will be plenty of other roles such as painting, oiling and digging over plant beds.
Wear easy clothes that could get dirty or paint splattered and comfy shoes. Refreshments will be served.
Come and learn more about the campaign to Save the Grove Adventure Playground – which is threatened with permanent closure.
