A fantastic summer at Grove Adventure Playground

Grove Adventure Playground hosted an amazing summer holiday playscheme for up to 70 children a day. Those who attended said coming to the playground was fun, it helped them to learn more about their local area, improved their friendships and had a positive impact on their mental health.

They went on trips to Little Hampton Beach, the velodrome and the library. They hired out a cinema for the day, took part in dance workshops, and held a how to be a model project. They also enjoyed their new lemonade-making machine created by students from the National Institute of Architecture.

This summer they ran their first residential trip to Brighton which was fantastic. Grovers got to experience a new environment, plan their own leisure activities m, work together to complete team challenges and explore a new area without the use of their phones.
