Black Thrive Community Assembly on Saturday 18 September

The Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership invites Black individuals, organisations, and allies to join them Saturday 18 September at Lambeth Town Hall


The Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership is inviting Black individuals, organisations and allies that are striving for an equal society to join the CommUNITY Assembly on 18 September 2021 for honest discussions about how together we can achieve real change for Black communities in Lambeth.

Lunch will be available in the afternoon and there will be information stalls as well as fun activities. The event will be accessible for disabled people, including wheelchair access and British sign language interpreters. The event will comply with the latest Covid-19 safety requirements. Spaces are limited so please register today.

There are 2 ticket types available:

Morning Session (10:30am to 1pm)
Presentations and table discussions will include how we work as a CommUNITY to address the following topics:

  • Social & Emotional Wellbeing: making sure that our children and young people are well supported.
  • Stop & Search: improving relationships and experiences.
  • Employment: improving employment prospects for people aged 18 to retirement.
  • Culturally appropriate mental health support and services.

Lunch served from 1pm

Afternoon Session (2pm to 4pm

  • Get information, meet kindred spirits, connect and have fun.
  • Information stalls.
  • Fun stalls and activities.
  • Therapeutic/wellbeing space.
  • Chill-out zone.
  • Workshops.
