Dan Kelly Ceramics
Dan Kelly makes ceramics at the Clockwork Studios on Southwell Road. Dan was born in Camberwell and moved into the Loughborough Estate at the age of three. He now lives on Bicknell Road. First introduced to pottery at school, he went on to study at Camberwell College of Arts and the Royal College of Arts.
He now combines teaching with making his own pieces and has been featured in galleries across the UK and internationally. Dan offers private teaching to those who already know the basics of pottery but would like to improve their skills. When asked what he most enjoys about his work Dan said: “making stuff on the wheel makes me the most happy, when I’m shut off and I can just enjoy the experience of feeling the clay and controlling it.”
