IRMO works in the UK to champion the rights of Latin American migrants, and support them to live empowered and fulfilled lives in the UK. Director

IRMO is looking for a highly motivated, visionary and strategically driven individual to lead our established Latin American-led organisation.

The Director will work effectively with the Board of Trustees to deliver IRMO’s strategic objectives, business and financial plans; and to develop and maintain a positive, accountable and impactful organisation. The role will be supported by our Trustees, Senior Management Team, and Senior Adviser.

The ideal candidate is someone who embraces our values; has a strong commitment to social justice and migrants’ rights; exceptional leadership skills to steer our strong and committed team; highly developed staff management, organisational, finance and fundraising skills; strong communication and listening skills; a track record in developing and implementing strategy; and a thorough understanding of the needs of Latin Americans and migrants in the UK. Fluency in Spanish and English, or Portuguese and English is essential.

  • Working hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Reporting: IRMO’s Management Committee through the Chairperson
