We’re delighted that Joe and Kiera are taking on the scenic Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 12th October, all to raise money for LJAG. A huge thank you to them both for their incredible commitment!
Many of you will know Joe from The Grove Adventure Playground (an LJAG project), where he’s been part of the team for 7 years. Every pound raised helps keep our local projects like The Grove going strong – a true home-from-home for children, young people, and families across Loughborough Junction.
Here’s why Kiera wanted to raise money for LJAG:
“Since moving to the area earlier this year, I’ve seen first-hand the amazing work LJAG does to bring our community together – from transforming public spaces to running creative and social projects that make a real difference. I’m aiming to raise at least £350, and every donation, big or small, will go directly towards supporting their work in our neighbourhood. If you can, please help me reach my goal – and cheer me on as I take on 13.1 miles for a cause close to home!”
