Kids Whirled Cinema is celebrating World Book Day with a whole season of films dedicated to books, poetry and tales.
On 28th February at 11am: The Iron Giant (U) by Brad Bird: a loose adaptation of much loved story by British poet Ted Hughes – for ages 7+.
On 7th March at 11am: A Little Princess (U) by Alfonso Cuaron: Sara’s fresh personality and exotic tales are a hit with her new school mates – for ages 5+.
On 14th March at 11am: The Secret of Kells (PG) by Norah Twomey and Tomm Moore: strikingly beautiful and not to be missed, Brendan must find the crystal to complete the Book of Kells – for ages 7+.
On 21st March at 11am: The Dead Poets Society (PG) by Peter Weir: a classic coming-of-age movie – for ages 11+.
On 28th March at 10.30am: Paddington Bear (PG) by Paul King: our beloved accident prone bear arrives in London – for ages 5+.

Everyone’s welcome at Whirled Cinema’s family screenings and there is no need to be a member. The cinema is located off Herne Hill Road on Hardess Street, London SE24 0HN.

Children aged 12+ are more than welcome to attend the cinema on their own and with friends, but please note that no unaccompanied adults are allowed at Kidsʼ Whirled. Children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult or an older sibling.
