Maude & Hazel’s Craft Workshops at Carnegie Library
10am – 1pm every Tuesday in term times at Carnegie Library 188 Herne Hill Road, SE24 0AG.
Maude and Hazel are talented and experienced craftswomen who will help you learn and extend your skills. There are six sewing machine and one overlocker free to use, there will also be deft knitters and crocheters on hand to help you learn or extend your skills. The sessions are free but there is a suggested donation of £5.
Great Mental Health Day Walk – Friday 28 January 2022
The Lambeth community wellbeing walk is taking place as part of the Great Mental Health Day. The walk starts at The Health Foundry in Waterloo and follows a route across to West Norwood Cemetery in the south of the borough. At lunchtime Lambeth’s suicide prevention strategy will be launched in Ruskin Park and there will be a stop off at The Platform Cafe, SW9 for sandwiches, teas and cakes. Please feel free to walk the whole distance, or to join in and drop off wherever is more convenient for you!
