Loughborough Farm is going to Myatt’s Field Fair

LFA event outside

This Saturday the Loughborough Farm is in two places:

  • We will be at the Myatt’s Fields Fair in Myatt’s Fields Park, from 1pm to 5pm, where we will be selling our lovely fresh vegetables and pots of vegetable and flower plants for planting out now and giving out information about the farm.  Please come and visit us if you are planning a visit to the fair.  You will find the park on Knatchbull Road a short walk from Loughborough Junction.
  • At the Loughborough Farm for our usual and very popular Saturday session starting from 1pm.  There is watering, weeding, harvesting and work to be done developing the hanging garden and the Wildmind garden.

And if you can help with early harvesting for the Myatt’s Field Fair, we will be at the farm from 10am and would appreciate some extra help.
Please email [email protected] to book a place on one of our volunteer sessions.  Dates and details set out below.  We need a minimum of 3 people to run a session.

Saturday 27 June – Volunteer Welcome Session for newer volunteers will explain how the Farm is organised, health and safety and the like.
Or if you have been enjoying the farm with us for longer please come to the Volunteer Follow Up Session to give us your feedback and ideas you have to make it better.

On Tuesday 30 June we would like to run another Volunteer Welcome Session and a Volunteer Follow Up Session.

The Loughborough Farm bakery begins! Join us at the farm session this Tuesday between 1-3pm where we’ll be breaking bread together. Simon and Charlotte will be heading down to Camberwell’s The Hill Bakery in the morning and will share baking tips during the session. The farm pizza oven will be well and truly fired up so please feel free to bring your own dough.

Nebula Nebula an arts space and wholefoods café will be at The Platform in Loughborough Junction, South London from 22nd June-30th June.  They will be sharing their new salad range and mouth watering drinks menu.  They aim for you to leave inspired having enjoyed some good nutrition and art.

May Project Gardens will be running an event at Loughborough Farm and the Platform (2 Ridgeway Road) on Friday 26 June from 6pm to late.  There will be workshops, music networking, food growing, food, hip hop and green economy presentations.
