Loughborough Farm is recruiting a Farm Manager

Loughborough Farm is recruiting a Farm Manager

12 Months’ Contract

The Loughborough Farm is a successful community food growing project in Loughborough Junction, South London.  The project was started by Loughborough Junction Action Group (LJAG) in August 2013 with the vision to build a patchwork of community growing spaces. The main site on Loughborough Road runs regular volunteering sessions for local people, community events, wellbeing initiatives, workshops, outreach activities and supports other local growing spaces.

Loughborough Farm is looking to recruit a part-time Farm Manager on a 12 months’ contract to lead a programme of activities which supports the Farm’s drive for business growth and financial sustainability.

The Farm Manager will lead on organising wellbeing events, workshops, and services in close collaboration with staff and volunteers; partnership work and on income generating and fundraising initiatives.  They will also work closely with the Farm Co-ordinator on impact reporting, management of the Farm’s finances and to re-invigorate the Farm’s volunteering programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the work of LJAG and to contribute to the wellbeing of people in Loughborough Junction.

We are looking for someone with relevant experience, a self-starter, flexible, collaborative, innovative and with an entrepreneurial eye.
