Join us at Loughborough Farm for a hands-on winter pruning dayon Saturday 31st January 2026 from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Learn the art of pruning fruit trees and shrubs to keep them healthy and thriving during the colder months.
Our facillitator Heather (CICO trained @theorchardproject), will guide you through the process, sharing tips and tricks along the way. A hands-on opportunity to prune blackcurrants, redcurrants, josta berries and gooseberries, plus take home cuttings to propagate your own!
We will walk over to Wyck Forest Garden in Wyck Gardens and you will get a chance to use your new skills helping to prune our apples, pears, mulberry and medlar. This in-person event is perfect for both beginners and experienced gardeners looking to hone their skills.
