Workspace Relationship Manager

Main Purpose of job: As Workspace Relationship Manager you will lead and manage the stakeholder relationships and project objectives for a portfolio of operational meanwhile projects. Building on the project team’s work to design, set up and establish the project, you will manage the ongoing project to ensure that SLA deliverables, reporting and impact evaluations are met. Maintaining efficient, safe and comfortable sites with happy tenants at 90% occupancy. Producing quarterly and annual reports for Exec Directors and external stakeholders

Skills/attributes: Previous experience in managing workspace or community projects and in building positive and lasting relationships with external stakeholders. You will be a strong team player able to navigate between external stakeholders, tenants, contractors and suppliers and other team members effectively and positively. You are resilient and able to manage competing pressures in a positive manner. You should have good organisational, planning and time management skills. Strong IT competence; experience in managing digital content creation desirable. Willingness to deal with the unforeseen and take the initiative.

Terms: The role is on an initial fixed term basis of 12 months, with the view of moving to permanent position. Full time £27k per annum.

Workspace Community Coordinator

Main Purpose of job: As Community Coordinator you will help us build and maintain effective and positive relationships with all our 100+ tenants (and growing) across a portfolio of up to 10 Meanwhile Space project sites. Ensuring that our tenants are supported, welcomed, and heard during their tenancy. This is a new, hands-on, and varied role. You will be the first point of contact for all tenant issues, communication and events planning. The role will also involve supporting the Workspace Relationship Manager to ensure delivery on project objectives for the portfolio of operational meanwhile projects.

Skills/attributes: You will possess excellent communication and influencing skills, good negotiation and problem-solving skills. Experience of working in a customer facing environment, previous experience in a workspace or coworking environment is desirable but not essential. You should be resilient and able to manage competing pressures in a positive manner. You will have good organisational, planning and time management skills. You will have strong IT competence, experience in digital content creation would be desirable. You will demonstrate a willingness to deal with the unforeseen and take the initiative.

Marketing & Communications Manager

Main Purpose of job: As Marketing and Communications Manager you will lead on and manage the implementation of the marketing and communications strategy for Meanwhile Space. You will work with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the business objectives; you will work with the project teams to develop and implement marcomms plans for operational and special projects.

Skills/attributes: To be successful in this role, you will be a marketing generalist, with exposure to PR and comms; you will have 3+ years experience working within a marketing role, and preferably a CIM qualification or similar. You will ideally have experience working for a social enterprise, within the workspace or meanwhile sector or in placemaking.

You will have experience developing annual marketing and comms plans, responsible for strategy development. You will have had hands on experience managing and creating content for websites and social media; experience with Wix or similar platforms would be beneficial. You will have a thorough understanding of the tools and techniques required to maximise the impact of social media activity. You will be competent in creating marketing collateral using InDesign or similar desktop publishing programme.

You should be well-organised and able to prioritise multiple issues and be a self-motivated problem solver. You should be a strategist, able to develop plans to meet objectives. Excellent IT skills. You will be an excellent communicator at all levels.

Facilities Coordinator

Main Purpose of job: As Facilities Coordinator you to help us maintain secure and well-functioning work environments across a portfolio of up to 10 Meanwhile Space project sites, occupying over 100 tenants. Ensuring that all properties are running smoothly and effectively. This is a new, hands-on, and varied role, working alongside the Workspace Relationship Manager, Workspace Community Coordinator and Marketing Manager to effectively manage our operational sites.

You will be the first point of call for ensuring our properties are well managed and maintained. This will involve coordinating site security, cleaning contracts, maintenance, and waste disposal. The role will also involve supporting the Property Manager with health and safety, ensuring all health and safety practices are adhered to.

Skills/attributes: To be successful in this role, you should be well-organised and able to prioritise multiple issues and be self-motivated problem solver. You will be a key part of our operations team. You should have sound judgement and the ability to think quickly during emergencies, keep calm under pressure, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and be hands-on as the business requires. Good knowledge of basic office equipment and IT. You will be an excellent communicator at all levels being both confident and well-mannered around our tenants, suppliers, and contractors. Ultimately you will have a can-do attitude, helping our tenants, employees, customers, and guests get the most out of our facilities.
