The Golden Goose is a new 80-seat theatre and is close to the heart of Camberwell. Founded by writer/director Michael Kingsbury and led by Artistic Director Georgia Leanne Harris, the theatre will produce and programme new work from upcoming creatives and more established practitioners eager to forge new directions in their work. We aim to become a welcoming creative hub for all artists in the industry.

A core part of our philosophy is to foster local engagement to involve local people in all aspects of theatre making, with a particular emphasis on drama classes and creative workshops for local teenagers. The Golden Goose Theatre is a seven-minute walk from Oval tube and well served by buses and boasts a flexible 29 metre stage, high ceilings and a dedicated theatre bar.
