Youth engagement
Youth engagement is an important aspect of LJAG’s work and we work on a range of different projects.
In July 2012 LJAG volunteer, Angela Akinyemi one of our most dedicate volunteers who sadly died in October 2013, organised a Youth Forum at the Karibu Centre in Gresham Road. The aim was to introduce local young people – many of whom have dropped out of school and are not in education or training – to a range of opportunities which are available to them, even those with no academic qualifications.
