WARRIOR STUDIOS
Warrior Studios is a collective of individual artists housed in a South London railway arch, originally founded in the 1990s to provide cheap studio space. Their existence as a collective is first and foremost to provide studio space at the cheapest possible rent to artists; to give the physical space for the nurturing and development of each artist’s work. Each individual’s commitment to our collaborative activities will vary over time, and this is incorporated into the Warrior Studios ethos; we are part of, but not subservient to the collective.
Alongside this fundamental importance, the Warrior Studios badge has evolved to signify a shared identity to which studio members subscribe.
