LJAG is appointing a part-time community engagement worker/events organiser
Thriving Fiveways, which is co-ordinated by Loughborough Junction Action Group (LJAG), is looking to appoint a part-time Community Engagement Worker/Events Organiser for 2 days a week to co-ordinate our new Community Living Room Project. We are excited to launch this new programme with funding from Lambeth council’s public health team which will run for a year in the former Vassall and Coldharbour wards.

Wellbeing Festival with fun for all the family. Workshops and activities to help you stay fit and healthy with lots of tips to help you maintain your health throughout your life. There will be music and dance; free food; and a bouncy castle and face painting. The event is being organised by Thriving Vassall and Coldharbour, Ecosystem Coldharbour, and Chips. Goodbye to Emily
Best of luck to Lougborough Farm’s original grow leader, Emily who is moving on to life in the country after 9 years of working and growing at the Farm. She will be hugely missed and we wish her all the best.

DIY Compost building workshop at Loughborough Farm
1pm – 4pm This project to improve a neglected corner of Wyck Gardens has been fused by Groundwork. No DIY experience needed, all tools provided.
Water Play in Myatt’s Field Park – Summer is coming!
The park’s water play is due to be turned on at the end of May, and will run until September. The water play is a highlight of the park during the summer months, providing relief from heat for children living in the park neighbourhood. It was installed during a £3 million renovation of the park in 2010, and is maintained by Lambeth Council.

this year focuses on anxiety. The Mental Health Foundation says that while causes of
anxiety are complex, financial worries, social isolation, social pressures and discrimination can all play a part.
London Festival of Architecture – Events at Loughborough Farm 10 June 2023

Volunteer needed at The Grove Adventure Playground
Passionate about children’s play? LJAG is looking for a volunteer for Grove Adventure Playground, our magical playground in Gordon Grove, who loves a spreadsheet. The volunteer’s job will be to collect data on registrations (we are going electronic), attendance at our playground and its various projects. Commitment: around 2 hours a week.
