Loughborough Farm Monthly Market Saturday 4th May 2024 11am-3pm

This month they’ll be selling rosemary, tomatoes, sweet peas, sunflowers, and other flower and veg seedlings, as well as giant lilies and a variety of succulents and spider plants‌. They will also have seeds and dried herbs to sell. All proceeds go towards supporting the farm’s work here in Loughborough Junction.

Grannie’s Caribbean Garden at Loughborough Farm, Wednesdays from 1 May 2024

Explore the therapeutic nature of gardening at Loughborough Farm – join us for our six free workshops for elders. Grannie’s Caribbean Garden is a project that links gardening in the Caribbean with the plants and herbs that can be grown in England and other areas of the world.

Art & Wellbeing Workshops, 28 March to 18 April 1pm-3pm

You will learn how to create unique artworks using waste materials while networking and collaborating with other participants. This hands-on experience aims to improve artistic skills, enhance personal well-being, and instigate a connection to sustainable practices. These workshops are FREE to join, thanks to Thriving Fiveways Living Room Project.

The campaign for a lift at Loughborough Junction continues: at the last check we are at 1,165 signatures, but we still need more. Join us for leafletting at the station on Wednesday 3 April from 4.30pm to 7pm and Thursday 4 April from 4.30pm to 7pm.

Native Hedge Planting Day at Loughborough Farm, Saturday 23rd March 11am-4pm

LJAG is proud to present Thriving Fiveways’ first event under its Community Living Room programme of local wellbeing events. Natoya Whyte is running a dementia awareness event at Moorlands Community Centre, on Corry Drive on Thursday 21 March from 6pm to 9pm. Meet the Community on Social Prescribing Day Thursday 14th March 2024

Come and meet some of the amazing community organisations working in the Loughborough Junction and Myatt’s Fields areas of South London, all offering a variety of volunteering opportunities and ideas for staying active and healthy. Meet the Loughborough Farm, a community food growing project; the team from Myatt’s Fields Park; and Healthy Living Platform and their food pantries. Meet at Akerman Health Centre, 60 Patmos Road London SW9 6AF from 2:30pm-4pm.

Loughborough Farm Market Saturday 2 March 2024 11am-3pm

Loughborough Farm hold their monthly market on the first Saturday of the month. They sell indoor and outdoor plants to raise money for the farm.

The Platform Cafe Book Store Pop Up 7-10 & 14-17 March 2024

In March The Platform Café will host a Book Garden Pop up selling a wide range of fantastic second hand books, from great reads, to art and music inspiration, food, poetry and nature. Alongside there will be free drop in paper craft workshops and Zine making re-using old books.
